GUWAHATI, Jan 8 � Concerns on preserving the one-horned rhinos and maintaining the sanctity of Kaziranga National Park have motivated a group of tech-savvy youth of the State to launch a smartphone game, where players join the tryst to save Kaziranga.
This one-touch smart way of gaming would take the level of awareness to preserve Kaziranga, protect one-horned rhinos and promote tourism in the national park that has been the identity of the State to people across the globe.
A free-to-play puzzle-matching game for smartphones, launched by a Duliajan-based game studio is more than just a game, with its theme being Kaziranga and the game mascot being Sukaphaa � a little one-horned rhino.
As the entire effort of Sukaphaa revolves around its struggle to save his animal kingdom from the speeding cars on the highway, it reflects the people�s concern about the danger looming large on the wildlife of Kaziranga.
Testing version of the game Crash Match is now available for smart phones (Android, iOS, Windows, etc.,) and the tablet, laptop and desktop versions of the game are on the anvil along with a Facebook avatar of the game, which would take it to a wider audience across the globe. Tremendous response to the smartphone games would multiply the level of awareness, feel the developers of the game.
�Crash Match is a free-to-play game and we plan to release premium features such as extra lives to increase playing time and special powers for an enhanced gaming experience. We would also organize Crash Match Real Cash Tournaments in the days to come,� said Chandan Hazarika co-founder of the www.fofatt.com and Fofatt game studio, where five Assamese youth are carving out a niche for themselves.
�Our primary target audiences are from all over the globe and by choosing Kaziranga as the theme, we are attempting to expose the beauty and heritage of Kaziranga and our pride one-horned rhino,� he added.
In the browser-based game, player gains points and rewards by matching the cars of the same type.
