GUWAHATI, Feb 26 - All India Radio (AIR), Nagaon on Saturday last commemorated 25 years of glorious services to the people of Assam in Nagaon and adjacent districts, a press release stated. A cultural programme was also held at the Nagaon Natya Mandir auditorium.
The programme was graced by PP Bhattacharya, ADG (Engineering) of Doordarshan and All India Radio, Northeastern Region, Rajib Barua, Head of office, Office of Additional Director General (P&A), Northeastern Region and Utpal Datta, Assistant Director, All India Radio, Guwahati.
The programme began with felicitation to the guests followed by lighting of lamps and welcome speech by Sunil Kumar Tyagi, head of the office, All India Radio Nagaon.
Different communities displayed their colourful traditional dances followed by songs and special musical performances.
