GUWAHATI, Feb 1 � Sidhant Deka lifted the men�s singles crown beating Rupam Boro 6-4, 0-6, 7-7 (7-5) in the 13th India Club Open Tennis Championship at the club�s premises here today. In boy�s U-18, it was Rupam Gogoi who bagged the title beating Archis Borthakur 6-3, 6-1 and in the girl�s U-18 category, Maitry Phukan beat Pratiksha Sharma 6-1, 6-4 to emerge champion. In the prize distribution ceremony, trophies, scholarship money and gifts were presented by the club�s president AD Lahkar, Hemanta Sarma of TI Ford, DGM of UBI Jugal Sarma, Sourav Mahanta of DY 365, Simanta Sarma of Janambhumi Group of Publications and Ramesh Verma of Verma Sports.
