AIZAWL, Feb 3 � Six shops and five residential houses were completely gutted by fire at Mission Veng Market in Aizawl town, the police said today.
C Lalthanmawia, SP, Fire and Emergency Services said, �Though there was no human casualty in the fire last night, properties worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed. The actual loss of property is yet to be determined.�
The cause of fire was being investigated and the police suspect the fire originated from the utensils shop. � PTI
