GUWAHATI, April 4 - Ace boxer Shiva Thapa, who has earned Rio Olympics berth from the Asian Qualifying Championship, held recently in China, will arrive here tomorrow.
It is Shiva�s second consecutive Olympics berth as earlier in 2012 London Olympics he was a member of the Indian boxing squad. Shiva won silver medal in China.
The Assam Amateur Boxing Association will accord the young boxer a warm reception at the Hotel Lilly at 1.30 pm after his arrival, informed State boxing body secretary, Hemanta Kumar Kalita.
