GORESWAR, Aug 19 - Several persons, including male, female and children are undergoing treatment at Mushalpur Civil Hospital following food poisoning in Baksa district.
According to reports available, the invited guests took part in a family function which was held at Dancher Boro�s residence on Friday. After the guests ate gram, they subsequently suffered from stomach ache, vomiting and loose motion. As the health condition of the people deteriorated, they were admitted to Barama Health Centre. However, many of them were referred to Mushalpur Civil Hospital for advanced treatment.
Among them, Jayasree Boro, Rosy Boro, Sombari Boro, Dhaneswar Daimary, Nilkamal Boro, Chitra Boro, Prem Boro, Someswar Boro, Madhusree Boro, Sonaram Boro, Pranita Boro, Runsun Boro, Jilimani Das, Karina Boro, Riya Boro, Kunal Narzary, Sarala Boro, Lipika Boro, Dalin Boro, Rahila Boro, Bilina Ramciary and Khadla Boro are still undergoing treatment at Mushalpur Civil Hospital.
Dr Mohan Chandra Boro informed that the victims were responding positively to treatment. Even members of the host family were undergoing treatment, he informed.
