Seven Bills tabled in Arunachal House

ITANAGAR, March 22 � Seven important Bills were introduced in the Arunachal Assembly as the five-day annual Budget Session began today.

Chief Minister Nabam Tuki first introduced the Arunachal Pradesh Fire Service Force (Amendmant) Bill 2012 followed by the Arunachal Pradesh Gambling (Prohibition) Bill 2012.

Education Minister Bosiram Siram introduced four Bills for establishment of four universities in the State. Siram introduced the Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University Bill 2012, Arunachal Pradesh University Bill, 2012, the Venkateshwara Open University Bill, 2012 and the Arunachal University of Studies Bill, 2012. Finance Minister Chowna Mein also introduced the Arunachal Pradesh Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Amendment) Bill 2012.

The Assembly paid tribute to former Home Minister Kabang Borang who died at Appolo Hospital, Chennai yesterday.
