The Indian stock market created a new record today as the BSE Sensex crossed the 50,000 mark for the first time in its history. The Sensex managed a near two-fold growth within a period of 10 months since it hit a decade low of 25,638.9 points on March 24, 2020, amid the initial impact of the pandemic globally.
