GUWAHATI, Dec 21 - Gautam Hazarika, a senior journalist working with electronic media house DY365, has remained untraced since Saturday morning.
Hazarika is a resident of Saurabh Nagar, Beltola and stays with his mother, wife and a son.
The senior journalist�s family has in the meantime, lodged an FIR at the Dispur Police Station in this regard. Dispur police too has initiated an investigation to trace his whereabouts.
A police source said that the 40-year-old Hazarika went missing after going for a morning walk on Saturday.
�Search for Hazarika is going on. We came to know that he was suffering from depression. His cell phone showed �switched off� near the GNRC Medishop at Survey, Beltola. We are collecting CCTV camera footage available in and around the shops,� the source added.
