GUWAHATI, Dec 2 - The 66th edition of the Senior Inter District Football Tournament for the Khirud Baruah Trophy will be held at Amguri under the aegis of the Sivasagar Sports Association from December 15.
The matches will be played at the Amguri Mini Stadium, Ladaigorh Tarun Samaj Football Ground, Ladaigarh; Borpatradol High School Play Ground, Kalugaon and Durlav Ch Gogoi Higher Secondary School Play Ground in Charing along with Jhanji Higher Secondary School Play Ground, Jhanji and Amguri Tea Estate Play Ground being the additional venues.
Addressing the media here today, Assam Football Association (AFA) secretary Ankur Dutta revealed that the organising committee has decided to give a motorcycle each to the best player of the tournament, best goalkeeper of the tournament and best player (man of the match) of the final match. The committee has also decided to give a Fair Play Trophy to the best disciplined team.
