GOLAGHAT, Sept 26 � A seminar on the topic �Contributions of Bezbaroa in the enrichment of modern Assamese literature� was held at the DR College, Golaghat under the aegis of the �150 years of Lakshminath Bezbaroa jayanti udjapan sammittee� with the cooperation of the DR College, Assamese department on September 24.
The seminar was conducted by Khirod Kumar Goswami, president of the committee. Prafulla Chandan Bora, a prominent writer as the chief resource person. Dr Putul Saikia, Principal, DR College also addressed the seminar. Speakers underlined the manifold achievements of Bezbaroa in the field of Assamese literature. Earlier, Anil Sarma explained the object of the seminar and the vote of thanks was offered by Dr Deepali Bora, head of the Assamese Department, DR College.
