GUWAHATI, Sept 29 � The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) today sealed the Big Bazar mall at Bhangagarh on the charge of deviation in occupancy of the third and fourth floor of the building and also for violation of parking norms.
GMC staff sealed the building this morning. GMC Commissioner S Viswanthan said that the �City Square� building was sealed based on a sealing order issued last Friday.
However, later in the day, based on an appeal by Arkashish Entrade Pvt Ltd, the Mayor in Council of the GMC stayed the order of the GMC Commissioner �until further order�.
