TEZPUR, May 25 - Three students brought laurels to the town by making it to the merit list in science stream of HS final examination, the results of which were declared today.
Sayan Mazumdar of Darrang College here got the first position securing a total of 478 marks out of 500. He scored 94 in English, 98 in Alternative English, 95 in Biology, 97 in Chemistry, 94 in Physics and 90 in Mathematics.
Son of Chinmoy Mazumdar and Mitali Mazumdar of Tezpur town, Sayan aspires to do engineering in future.
