GUWAHATI, Nov 8 - The Regional Science Centre (RSC) Guwahati is going to celebrate the International Science Centre and Science Museum Day (ISCSMD) on November 10 on its Khanapara premises here with a variety of participatory activities involving schoolchildren.
The event is being celebrated to build upon UNESCO�s theme, �Science for Peace and Development�, and the idea is to create new ways for institutions to proactively address global sustainability while reaching increasingly diverse audiences, said a statement.
The programmes planned for the occasion include painting competition, extempore speech, popular science talk by Dr Kishore Baruah from the Department of Physics, Tezpur Central University, science demonstration, scientific film show and observation of night sky through telescope.
