GUWAHATI, Dec 8 - Regional Science Centre (RSC) Guwahati is organising a 2-day �Science & Engineering Fair� on its Khanapara premises from tomorrow. The main theme of the fair is �Innovation for sustainable development�.

Students will showcase their talents with creative science models at the fair. Around 60 science models with 120 student participants and 60 guide teachers from various schools and colleges of Assam are going to participate in the event.

The five best projects will be selected from this fair for the Eastern India Science Fair to be held at the Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, Kolkata from January 9 to 13, 2018.

The fair will be open for visitors till 5.30 p.m. on both the days and entry is free.

Dr NC Talukdar, Director of the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), will be the chief guest during the inaugural ceremony tomorrow.
