BADARPUR, April 17 - Sixteen coaches of the Environment Awareness Special Train, viz., �Science Express Climate Action Train�reached Badarpur railway station, on Saturday morning to an enthusiastic reception by the people of Badrapur from various educational institutions and senior Railway officials. This special train after a stay of three days will depart on Tuesday. The Karimganj Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Talukdar appealed to all students and all sections of people to participate in the discussion with the senior officials of the Science and Technology department of the Central Government, who came in this special train.
Talking to ANN Service, various officials as well as experts of the Environment and Climate departments informed that under the initiative of the Central Government, this special train will travel nearly 19, 000 kms covering 68 important railway stations. The main purpose of this train is to increase environmental awareness among the people. To see this environment awareness special train, various sections of people, specially students from different schools and colleges thronged Badarpur railway station.
