School expresses pain over killing of rhinos

DIBRUGARH, Jan 17 � Perturbed by the unabated killing of rhinos at the World Heritage Site Kaziranga National Park and other national parks in the State, the Oil India Higher Secondary School, Duliajan has adopted a resolution stating it will not keep silent over the increasing incidents of killing of the endangered pachyderm.

The school, during its morning assembly, resolved to express deep pain and concern over the loss of rhinos from the State�s national parks. The school institution has decided to send an SOS message to the Prime Minister, the Governor and Chief Minister of Assam in this regard.
