GUWAHATI, March 28 - A rumour has got viral in the social and digital media like Facebook, Twitter, etc., that the bank will remain closed for four consecutive days from Thursday onward. The Assistant General Manager (PR&CSB), SBI, Local Head Office, Guwahati today confirmed that there will be no bank holiday on March 29 (Thursday) and March 31 (Saturday) in this region except on March 30, which is on account of Good Friday. The bank will remain open on March 29 and 31, 2018, said a press release.
