IMPHAL, Oct 4 � Asian Games medallist boxer Laishram Sarita was accorded a hero�s welcome when she arrived along with her husband at Tulihal airport here today.
Talking to the media, Sarita said she tendered an apology to the International Boxing Association in the interest of the boxing community of the country.
Thanking the media for highlighting the story, the Commonwealth Games silver medallist also appreciated the spirit of her Korean opponent Jina Park.
