GUWAHATI, March 7 - Santipur Athletic Club outplayed Ankurjyoti Club by a big margin of 139 runs in today�s match of the Nabin Chandra Tamuly Memorial GSA A Division Cricket League at the IIT ground in North Guwahati.
Deciding to bat first, Santipur amassed 217 for eight in their stipulated 35 overs. Skipper Abu Nechim Ahmed smashed 53 while Manish Rai added 31. Chasing the imposing target, the Ankurjyoti batsmen miserably failed to show any courage and were bundled out for 78 in just 14.2 overs.
