The Mahapurushiya Dharmalochani Sabha, constituted in 1923, first started celebrating the birth anniversary of Sankaradeva at Sualkuchi in the same year at Sri Sri Nabhatisatra where Nilamoni Phukan and Kanak Lal Baruah participated. At 10 am, Srimanta Sankar Prakash, the mouthpiece of the Mahapurushiya Dharmalochani Sabha, will be released. At 5 pm, an illumination programme will start which will be followed by the Bhagabat Shubha Yatra at the main thoroughfares of the village.

On September 26 at 7 am, naam prasanga will be conducted by womenfolk, and at 8.30 am, the flag will be hoisted by Tarun Chandra Das, president of the Mahapurushiya Dharmalochani Sabha. At 9.30 am, the subject committee will be held and at 10 am, naam prasanga and a mass religious prayer will take place.

The 97th annual meeting of the Mahapurushiya Dharmalochani Sabha and a religious discourse will be held at 4 pm. Rajib Lochan Santa, Satradhikar of Iswar Sri Sri Hatisatra, will participate in the discourse.
