SHILLONG, June 30 � Union Minister of State for Water Resources and Congress MP from Meghalaya Vincent H Pala today dismissed Presidential aspirant PA Sangma�s claim of being a candidate put up by the Tribal Forum.
�I am a tribal and also a Christian and an executive member of the Forum. I do not remember of having any discussion about him on this issue, I do not know what tribal forum he is talking about�� the Minister said dismissing claims made by the former Lok Sabha and MLA from Tura.
The Minister said that the election to the post should be on party line. Out of 543 members, Congress has more than 200,� Pala said adding that division is also there among the NDA and its allies. � PTI
