GUWAHATI, Jan 30 � �Sampark...the interface,� an annual event of the students of the School of Management Sciences, Tezpur University, is scheduled to be held from 9.30 am on February 4, a press release said. The event will comprise an inaugural session, technical sessions, panel discussion, corporate quiz, trade exhibition and cultural show.
A host of dignitaries like the CMD of OIL, MD of BCPL, CMD of NEDFi and representatives from the ITC, Vodafone, IOCL, Bisleri, Airtel, ttsl, Lifecom, Reliance Energy, DLF Pramericalife, etc., are likely to participate in various sessions. Besides, a significant number of poeple from the industry are also likely to attend the various events.
Witnessing the necessity of accepting its greater role in society by organisations worldwide, the theme for �Sampark 2011...the interface� has been chosen as �CSR � a step towards better corporate citizenship�.
The symposium is aimed to facilitate an assimilation of people from industry, academia and young talents. The focus is on building up a synergistic relationship amongst them.
A current and relevant topic is chosen as the theme for the symposium every year and people from the corporate sector and the academia join in the deliberations, the release added.
