DIBRUGARH, June 4 - The management of Tamulbari Tea Estate has decided to create a memorial in memory of Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwala.To implement the project, it has decided to obtain the advice, guidance and suggestions from people like Dr Nagen Saikia and others. It will be planned as a major tourist attraction of the State.
It has also been decided to obtain the suggestions of Charukamal Hazarika, a veteran film maker who has been instrumental in making many documentaries on Jyoti Prasad Agarwala. The management has decided to form an advisory committee for steps to implement the project by obtaining the views of the people at large, including the various Government departments of the State. The process is also being coordinated by the Dibrugarh district administration.
