�Run for Inclusion� on Nov 23

GUWAHATI, Sept 14 � Aide et Action, Guwahati regional office, would organize its second edition of �Run for Inclusion 2014 � an effort to turn dreams into reality� on November 23. The run aims to promote dignity, respect and inclusion of the poor and excluded section of the society.

The run would focus on children, particularly the girl child, persons with disability, population forced to migrate under distress condition, unemployed youth and women through access to quality education and better employment opportunities.

�More than 2,000 people are about to participate in the second edition of the �Run for Inclusion� organized by Aide et Action in Guwahati this year. The run is being organised simultaneously in 25 cities across India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal on November 23. The resource mobilised through this mega event would be used for quality education of children and enabling better employment opportunities for youths from the poor and weaker sections of society,� said a press statement.

Celebrities, local athletes, employees of corporate houses and government institutions, youth, civil society organisations, homemakers etc, are expected to participate in the run and express their solidarity for the excluded communities.

The first edition of the run was held on December 22, 2013 and saw the participation of more than 1500 people in Guwahati, added the statement.
