NAGAON, March 5 - Two masked bike-borne miscreants today snatched away a bag containing money in cash and other essential documents, of a DRDA employee from Krishnai Cinema hall Chariali in Nagaon town in broad daylight.
According to sources, the employee of Juria Development Block, Tarik Uddin withdrew Rs 40,000 from SBI, Nagaon branch and was on his way to Natun Bazaar. But when he reached Krishnai cinema hall Chariali, two youths wearing masks coming on a Pulsar bike snatched away the bag containing the cash from him and disappeared immediately from the scene. The victim meanwhile informed about the incident in details to the police of Itachali Town Outpost. Interestingly, a couple of weeks ago two motorcycle-borne miscreants had snatched Rs one lakh from a businessman near Panigaon Kalibari area in a similar manner.
