GUWAHATI, Sept 12 - Railway Protection Force, Guwahati, rescued Debu Sarkar (23) of Dinhata, Coochbehar, West Bengal from a concourse area of the Guwahati Railway Station around 12.30 pm today.
The victim stated that he was abducted by some persons on September 1 from Barpeta Road and it was last night that he managed to escape from them.
RPF officer-in-charge Ranjit Bezbaruah said that Barpeta Road Police had already registered a case in this connection and are sending a team to Guwahati to take his custody.
