GUWAHATI, Dec 5 - Assam cricketer Riyan Parag who has been selected for the India U-19 World Cup team arrived in the city today after a splendid show in the Challenger Trophy Mens Under 19 One Day Limited Overs Tournament in Mumbai recently.

Riyan scored 207 runs including a century for India Red in the recently concluded tournament and will be a part of the preparatory camp for the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup from December 8 to 22 in Bengaluru.

Mumbai batsman Prithvi Shaw will lead the 16-member Indian team in next years ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup to be held in New Zealand.

He made his Ranji Trophy debut this season.
