GUWAHATI, April 30 � River Rine Club outplayed Favourite Club by 116 runs in today�s match of the Bhupen Chandra Mahanta Trophy GSA A Division Cricket League at the Nehru Stadium here today.
Riding on two half centuries by Chandan Singh (65 n.o) and Navajit Kaushuik (53), River Rine amassed 237 for seven in 35 overs. Chandan�s 65 came off 55 balls with four hits to the ropes and two over the ropes. Navajit took 53 balls and his knock was studded with eight boundaries.
Favourite batsmen hardly could show their talent and temperament and were all out for 121 in 28.2 overs. Marvelin Deka was their top scorer with 25.
