KOHORA, Jan 3 � Sensation prevailed here today as a rhino strayed around the tourist guest houses. The rhino attacked a minor girl whose condition is critical.
According to sources in the Forest department of Kaziranga, the rhino had created panic among the tourists when it started moving towards the Forest Range office of Kohora and government run tourists lodges and other staff quarters.
The forest staff had blank fired six rounds of bullets to chase the rhino towards the National Park. The rhino is said to be still in the said area and the forest and police forces are monitoring the movement of the rhino.
