DIBRUGARH, Jan 28 - The 1983 MBBS batch of the Assam Medical College (AMC) held a two-day reunion meet recently, stated a press note.
The principal, vice principal, superintendent and many senior faculty members of the college participated in the meet. About 60 former students of the 1983 batch from various parts of the country were among the other participants.
The meet began with an inaugural function at the college auditorium, followed by lunch at the boys� hostel, �Rumanthan� (remembrances) and cultural show at Anvik Lawns.
On the second day, a picnic was held to cherish the memories of student days. Dr Indra Nath Chutia, convener of the reunion, stated the programme was a success.
