AIZAWL, Feb 21 � Union Home Ministry has agreed to provide rehabilitation package to 83 Mizo displaced families residing in refugee camps of Tripura and Mizoram, an official statement said here today.
The decision was made at the meeting attended by Joint Secretary (NE) Union Home Ministry, Shambu Singh, Mizoram Home Secretary K Riachho and Tripura Principal Secretary for Revenue GK Rao at Agartala on February 17.
While 32 families in Tripura would be rehabilitated through the Tripura Government, 51 families staying as refugees in Mizoram would be rehabilitated through the Mizoram Government by the Centre, it said. � PTI
