GUWAHATI, March 31 - A few oil refinery officials brought laurels to IndianOil and Guwahati Refinery after they won prizes at the Young Managers� Award organised by the Guwahati Management Association here recently.
Smita Nath, Manager (ER), was awarded the second best Young Manager while Atreya Barua, Manager (P&U), received the third best Young Manager in the competition. Bardan Lama, Production Manager, was given the Special Jury award.
The award distribution ceremony of the competition was held at the Assam State Museum on March 28.
To promote the spirit of constructive competition and excellence, the Young Managers Competition was conducted with an aim to recognise outstanding achievements and contributions made by young managers below 40 years of age. The event witnessed participation from across the industry as well as the world of academia.
