Re-polling ordered in 5 polling stations

GUWAHATI, April 22 - The Election Commission of India has ordered re-polling to be held at five polling stations under the Karimganj and Autonomous District (Diphu) Lok Sabha constituencies.

Fresh polling will be held from 7 am to 5 pm on April 24 at those stations.

The polling stations where re-polling will be conducted are PS No 105 Batoiya LP School (Right Side), PS No 134 Gandarvakhani LP School, PS 152 Atanagar LP School (Right Side) and PS No 153 Atanagar LP School (Left Side) under Karimganj South Legislative Assembly segment of Karimganj parliamentary constituencies. In addition, re-polling will also held at PS No 136 Upper Dillaji LP School of Diphu Legislative Assembly segment under the Diphu constituency.

Karimganj and Diphu constituencies had gone to the elections during the second phase of Lok Sabha polls on April 18.
