IMPHAL, April 16 - Spiritual leader Guru Ravi Shankar will be arriving here on Sunday on a three-day maiden visit to Manipur from April 17 to April 19 as part of his tour of the Northeastern States.
This was informed by former Manipur Chief Minister Radhabinod Koijam, who is the chairman of the reception committee. Radhabinod said the spiritual leader will meet various State civil organisations on the theme �harmony in diversity� soon after his arrival on Sunday around 5 pm.
On the second day of his visit, Guru Ravi Shankar will visit the newly-founded Ashram site located at Takhel village in Imphal East district followed by music and meditation session at Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre here in the evening of April 18. Koijam also informed that Ravi Shankar will interact with media persons and Art of Living teachers on April 19 before leaving Manipur for Agartala.
