GUWAHATI, Sept 20 - Former Assam Ranji Trophy player Mohan Saikia died at his Jorhat residence today. He was 61.
A former employee of ONGC, Saikia was a pace bowler and represented Assam in Ranji Trophy in 70s.
The Assam Cricket Association, Veteran Cricket Association of Assam along with the cricketing fraternity of the State condoled the death of Saikia. He leaves behind his wife and a son.
