GUWAHATI, Jan 2 � Ramesh Baruah Invitational Cricket Tournament, under the aegis of Gauhati Town Club, will start tomorrow at the Judges� Field here .
The 40-over tournament will be played in league-cum-knock-out basis between 12 top cricket teams of the State.
The final is slated for January 19 which will be a 50-over affair.
The participating teams are: Nabajyoti Club, Bud Cricket Club, Maharana AC, Gauhati Town Club, Ankurjyoti Club, Radial Club (Nagaon), Tinsukia Railway, City Cricket Coaching Center, River Rine Club, AG cricket team, Bud Cricket Club (B), Gauhati Town Club(jr).
Ankurjyoti Club will play against Maharana AC in the opening match, said a press note.
