Ram Navami on April 15

GUWAHATI, April 13 - The Viswa Hindu Parishad, Guwahati Mahanagar Samity, will observe Ram Navami, the birthday of Lord Rama, on April 15 at the playground of Ulubari Higher Secondary School here.

The devotees will assemble at 9.30 am at the venue where the dharmadwaja will be hoisted by Basudev Goswami, acting president of the Samity. This will be followed by flagging off of a procession of devotees by Dr Tarini Kanta Sarma, president of the VHP, Uttar Pub Prant. The procession will move along GS Road, Ganeshguri, RG Baruah Road, GNB Road, Chandmari, and reassemble at the venue at Ulubari HS School.
