MORIGAON, July 7 - Union Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain today reiterated his stand that the All India Institute Medical Science (AIIMS) should be set up at Raha and that he, as a Central Minister, will try his level best in this regard.
Talking to media-persons here today after attending a series of felicitation meetings, Gohain said that the Central Government is expediting works on all railway projects in the NE region.
Moreover, he said that priority would be given to local candidates in recruitment of 3rd and 4th grade employees.
Gohain said that all Central projects, including the AIIMS, should serve all the people of North East region.
