GUWAHATI, July 21 � The All India Inter Railway Table Tennis Championship got under way at the NF Railway Indoor Stadium, Maligaon here today.
Altogether 13 men and six women teams from all over the country are taking part in the three-day meet.
RS Virdi, General Manager of the NF Railway formally inaugurated the meet as chief guest where RK Singh, GM construction of NF Railway was the guest of honour. CPRO of NF Railway S Lahiri was also present on the occasion.
Altogether 69 men and 29 women peddlers are in fray for the title in the championship which has been organised by the NF Railway.
