GUWAHATI, Feb 18 � The two-day tour programme of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi to Assam has been rescheduled and he will address a public rally on the first day of his visit to the State itself.
Assam Pradesh Congress Committee spokesman Mehdi Alam Bora said that immediately after his arrival in the city on February 25, Gandhi will have a meeting with intellectuals and media at 11.30 am, which will be followed by a mass rally at the Khanapara Veterinary College field at 1.30 pm.
Bora said that Gandhi will address a public meeting at Diphu on the same day. On the next day, Gandhi will participate on a road show from Nagaon to Kaliabhomora and before leaving the State, he will address a women�s meet at Jorhat.
