GUWAHATI, June 21 - Pandu College, Guwahati celebrates the death anniversary of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha yesterday on the College premises, stated a press release.
To commemorate the celebration of Rabha Divas, a one-day workshop on Rabha Sangeet, conducted by reputed singer Tarali Sarma, was organised.
Sarma spoke about the social relevance of Rabha Sangeet and the ideals of Bishnu Prasad Rabha in the present time.
Sarma, accompanied by Naba Chutia in tabla, mesmerised the students and staff of the College with her brilliant deliberations on various aspects of Rabha Sangeet.
