GUWAHATI, Nov 19 - Quami Ekta Week is being celebrated throughout the country from today (November 19) to November 25.
On this occasion, a ceremonial function was held this morning at 11 am at the Assam Secretariat with the National Integration Pledge.
Chief Secretary VK Pipersenia administered the National Pledge among the officers and staff of the Assam Secretariat, which consisted of not to resort to violence but to continue to endeavour towards settlement of all differences and disputes relating to religion, language, region or other political or economic grievances by peaceful and constitutional means, said an official press release today.
