TURA, Aug 6 - The by-poll to South Tura seat will be a four-cornered contest after two more nominations were filed today for the seat.
Two independent candidates, former South Tura MLA John Leslee K Sangma and Kris Kabul A Sangma filed their nominations this afternoon, the last day of filing nominations.
Earlier, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Congress contestant, Charlotte W Momin filed papers for the South Tura seat.
The by-poll was necessitated due to the resignation of Agatha Sangma, who gave up her seat to accommodate her brother and CM, Conrad.
