GUWAHATI, Jan 15 (PTI): Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has less assets than his Cabinet colleague Ajanta Neog, going by the details of their property put up on the official website.
The assets of Gogoi and some of his ministerial colleagues were put up in the government's portal today.
Gogoi has declared the value of his property to be Rs 54 lakh which include two residential plots and a building here and a flat in New Delhi.
According to the website, the chief minister has a total liability of more than Rs 18 lakh.
PWD minister Ajanta Neog has property of Rs 66 lakh, while Social Welfare Minister Akon Bora has assets worth Rs 19 lakh.
While the income statements were uploaded in the official website, there was no clear picture of the total income and expenditures of many of the ministers.
