GUWAHATI, Feb 7 � A public meeting of welfare societies, unnayan samitis, namghar samitis, mahila samitis and other social organisations of the city has been convened from 10 am tomorrow at Sanatan Dharmasabha premises at Jonali here with a view to discuss issues related to artificial flooding in the city and to pressurise the administration to take up adequate steps immediately to ensure that the city is not gripped by artificial flooding during the coming monsoon. The event is being organised under the aegis of the Nabin Nagar Welfare Society, Anil Nagar-Rajgarh Unnayan Samity and Nabin Nagar Unnayan Samity.
