GUWAHATI, Feb 7 - The Deshi Janagosthiya Jatiya Sangsad, Assam, the body of the indigenous Muslim population of the State�s undivided Goalpara district, has welcomed the State Budget presented by Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in the State Assembly. The proposal to constitute a development corporation for the all-round development of the Goria, Moria, Deshi and other indigenous Muslim peoples was hailed by the body.
While hailing the announcement of the Finance Minister, Sangsad president AAM Enamul Haque and secretary Monjirul Hashan Akond in a statement here expressed hope that the announcement made by the Finance Minister would be implemented speedily to benefit the indigenous Muslim peoples of the State from the grassroots level.
