Pronita�s success brings pre-Diwali to Baksa

MUSHALPUR, Oct 13 - The family members and the people of Baksa district get a chance for pre-Diwali celebration as their daughter � Pronita Swargiary, the champion of Zee TV reality show �Dance India Dance-Season 5�.

The people gathered at her home in Bortari village to greet the family as soon as the result of the competition was declared on Saturday.

For them, it becomes an advance Diwali descended upon the district with bursting of fire crackers and singing and dancing in different places. However, the celebration remained incomplete in the absence of the winner, who is expected to arrive at home during the Durga Puja celebration. A good number of students, cultural, social, literary and political organisations thronged Pronita�s home to congratulate the family members.

It is noteworthy that fans, including students� organisations like ABSU, had carried out massive campaigns in BTAD and other parts of the State in support of Pronita. Her fans of varied ages and groups are eagerly waiting for the Baksa girl to come home.

Earlier, Jintumoni Baishya, Om Chhetry and Pradip Gurung had also brought glory to the State from the same platform as champion and first runners-up in junior and senior section, respectively.
