Programme to strengthen Bodoland�s ties with Rajasthan

KOKRAJHAR, March 11 - A cultural exchange and fashion show was organised at Bodoland Cultural Complex here on Friday with an aim to improve relations between Bodoland and Rajasthan through people-to-people contact.

The event was inaugurated by BTC Deputy Chief Kampa Borgoiary in the presence of Vikash Poddar, CMD, Sriya Events, Jaipur, Bollywood actress Zoya Afroz, Mrs Universe Earth Kiren Boro, Dadu Moni Borah, Director, Sriya Events, Jaipur, Dinesh Boro, Cultural Secretary of BTC and other invited guest and dignitaries.

A felicitation programme was also held where a number of national-level fashion designers and choreographers actively took part.

Almost all the speakers felt that the event would certainly help the people to learn more about the culture, heritage and living style of both Bodoland and Rajasthan. Traditional dances from both Bodoland and Rajasthan were performed.
