GUWAHATI, Jan 21 - Print Media and Electronic Media won their respective matches of the Guwahati Premier League (GPL) Cricket Championship at the NF Railway Stadium in Maligaon here today.

In the first match of the day, Print Media got the better of hosts Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Association (NFRSA) by three wickets while Electronic Media thrashed Axis Bank by 117 runs.

Brief scores: NFRSA 105/7 in 20 overs (Parag Das 24, Vikash Rathi 15, Lokesh Narayan 11; Tauhid Ali Talukdar 2/17, Amit Das 2/27). Print Media 108/7 in 17.3 overs (Amit Das 27 n.o., Abuddin Khan 23, Rajdeep Das 16; Parag Das 3/10, Himangshu 2/16, Utpal Bhatt 2/17).

Electronic Media 170/3 in 20 overs (Kishore Talukdar 56 n.o., Anupam 48, Binoy Kalita 33 n.o.; Biswajit 2/19). Axis Bank 53 in 12.3 overs (Sourav 15, Biswajit 14; Tanmoy Dey 3/13, Dhruba 3/7, B Baishya 2/14).
